New Building Construction Update 7/11/2019

July 12th, 2019 by

Citadel Masonry has wrapped up with all walls topped out at Baker INFINITI. With all required special and city inspections complete, the scaffold has been taken down and the crew de-mobilized. The crew will return in a few weeks to complete grouting of beam pockets and complete punch list.

Thanks to the Citadel team for their hard work to maintain project schedule.

Shout out to superintendent Ben Badeau for coordinating the one steel beam inside of the CMU wall, ensuring there were no delays for Citadel.

After a pre-install meeting with Macuch Steel, site logistics were established and the second truck of structural steel was unloaded. With erection beginning yesterday, all attention shifts to Macuch to continue pushing the schedule.

Temporary waterproofing was installed by Highland Roofing after CMU walls rose above existing service drive to keep water intrusion to a minimum during construction.

Upcoming Construction:

  • Finish last two spread footers
  • Begin structural steel erection
  • Mock-up air barrier and stucco
